PR-DC is the only private company from Serbia participating at the Eurosatory 2022 exhibition in Paris, which was opened by President Macron.

The international arms and military equipment exhibition Eurosatory 2022 opened today in Paris. Every two years, Eurosatory gathers exhibitors, visitors, and journalists from around the world. This year, Serbia is represented by PR-DC, which will showcase its latest drone, the IKA-20. This appearance follows their recent participation at the Hemus fair in Bulgaria.

Miloš Petrašinović, one of PR-DCs engineers and co-owners, notes: „We are concluding this very busy and dynamic spring at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris, marking another prestigious achievement for our company. We are presenting our IKA-20 drone here, a versatile drone that we have fully designed and manufactured in Serbia. It features a hexacopter configuration (6 rotors) and a frame made of epoxy resin reinforced with carbon fibers, with a standard mounting rail system for payload. The weight of the empty drone (without the battery) is 20 kg, while the optimal payload capacity can reach up to 20 kilograms.”

„The IKA series drones are named after Professor Ilija Krivošić of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade. PR-DC’s engineers, all graduates of the same faculty, wish to honor the professor who contributed to the success of many generations of Serbian aviators”.

The exhibition in Paris will run until Friday. Although the 2020 fair was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers expect record attendance this year. Over 100 countries are represented, and French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurated Eurosatory 2022.

Tijana Petrašinović, PR-DC’s director, highlights the significance of such events: „By participating in fairs around the world, we are not only showcasing our company but also representing Serbia. We always proudly emphasize where we come from. These are significant events for our industry, especially for developing unmanned aerial vehicles, which is still underdeveloped in our country. Fair visitors enjoy spending time at our stands, talking with us, and learning about our work and products.”

„The next international fair for PR-DC engineers is the Farnborough International Airshow in London, scheduled from July 18 to 22. The company notes that its appearance in London will serve as a special celebration of its anniversary, coinciding with its two-year milestone. READ OTHER NEWS
