PR-DC at the Fourth Edition of SEAS in Belgrade
PR-DC's Chief Engineer, Miloš Petrašinović, presented at the Fourth Southeast European Aviation Summit (SEAS) in Belgrade on drone production for military use in Serbia.
SEAS, the only exhibition event of its kind in the former Yugoslavia region, gathered over 1,400 delegates, executives, managers, experts, and engineers from the aviation industry worldwide. The summit was an opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange, and product presentations.
At the summit, PR-DC showcased its IKA 20 combat drone, which recently participated in a military exercise in Pešter and hit all twelve targets. Petrašinović highlighted the success of this drone as evidence of the domestic industry’s ability to produce unmanned aerial vehicles that can compete with those from Western Europe, the USA, and the Middle East.
„Successfully hitting all 12 targets in Pešter demonstrates that our engineers possess the knowledge and skills to create top-tier unmanned aerial vehicles. Through travel and collaboration with manufacturers worldwide, we have seen the potential for progress in the domestic industry. Drones are the future in many industries, including the military, and the sooner we realize this, the faster we will position ourselves in the global market”, said Petrašinović.
He added that PR-DC, since its founding four years ago, has had the vision that drones represent the future. Today, their unmanned aerial vehicles participate in exercises with the land and air components of the Serbian Army and special forces. Petrašinović expressed satisfaction with their contribution to the development of the domestic industry and emphasized the importance of such summits for future development.
During the two-day summit, delegates had the opportunity to attend over 20 panels and presentations, explore 10 exhibition booths, including PR-DCs, and connect with experts and enthusiasts from over 170 regional companies.
